How are images selected for purchase?
Each work undergoes a pre-selection process based on analysis of the artist, exhibition and sales history, potential for appreciation, and condition. We select only works with documented provenance and reputation.
Is the work insured?
Yes. All works are insured for their current market value, both during storage and any transport or display.
How are investments in individual works of art structured?
Investments in individual works of art are based on dividing ownership into digital units called fragments. Each fragment represents a fraction of the right to a physical painting held in a public museum. If a collector amasses an 80% stake in a given work, they have the option to purchase the remaining shares and transfer the work to their private collection.
What if I want to sell a share?
From the beginning of the platform’s operation, a secondary market will be launched enabling transactions between users.
Can art lose its value?
Like any investment, art carries risk. That’s why we prioritize precise selection and a long-term approach. However, works of art, like real estate and gold, are a good hedge against inflation, and historically, in certain periods, they have appreciated faster than stocks and bonds.
