Users can acquire additional fragments or transfer their tokens to other platform participants through the platform, which is available 24/7.
Subsequently, the fragments are available at exchange market, where participants can buy and sell them 24/7.
Fragments representing rights linked to the artwork are created and allocated to collectors through the platform.
Each artwork fragment acquired through the platform is automatically recorded within your personal collection interface. Through this interface, users can view detailed information about the artworks they hold, including the number of fragments owned, the history of transfers, and the current status of the artwork.

Following the completion of the initial allocation, the total number of fragments is fixed and no further fragments are issued. The proceeds from the allocation are transferred to the original owner of the artwork pursuant to the relevant contractual arrangements.

Selection
Artworks presented on the REAL platform are selected with the involvement of art market professionals, cultural institutions, and, where appropriate, contributions from the platform’s user community.

Deposit
The artwork is transferred to a designated custodian, such as a museum or other reputable institution, where it undergoes verification of authenticity and is subsequently stored, exhibited where appropriate, and covered by appropriate insurance arrangements.

Purchase
Users can acquire a selected number of artwork fragments through the REAL platform, becoming part of a community of art collectors.

Withdrawal
A holder who acquires 80% of all fragments linked to a given artwork may automaticly purchase the remaining fragments and request the withdrawal of the artwork from custody.

The founder of Real Digital Exchange is Adrian Kutnik CFA, former Director of New Business at the Warsaw Stock Exchange and former Vice President of GPW Private Market S.A. He studied at George Washington University, Queensland University Brisbane, and the Warsaw School of Economics. He is the only person in Poland to receive a scholarship from the World Bank and the Milken Institute as part of the Capital Market Program.

Our partner Artinfo.pl plays a key role – one of the most reputable institutions on the Polish art market, with years of experience, transactional data, and access to industry experts.
The process includes:
expert pre-selection (Artinfo.pl and independent art market specialists),
analysis of the artworks’ long-term value growth potential,
consideration of platform users’ interest in specific artists or works,
the possibility of secure artwork deposit in a public institution, which contributes to the future increase in the artwork’s value.

Are the artworks available on RDX insured?
All artworks operating within the Real Digital Exchange system are physically deposited in public institutions, including renowned museum institutions, which possess appropriate infrastructure, procedures, and experience in the protection and storage of artworks.
It is the depository institution that is responsible for the artwork’s security, both in terms of physical and organizational aspects. These institutions are equipped to secure artworks to the highest standard and bear responsibility according to the applicable deposit agreements.
Simultaneously, upon user request or in specific cases, Real Digital Exchange can provide additional commercial insurance for the artwork, extending beyond the standard protections offered by the depository institution.
What does purchasing artwork fragments entail, and how does the primary market work?
On the RDX platform, users do not purchase an entire painting, but fragments of rights to a given artwork.
The primary market is the moment when the artwork is first made available on the platform – this is when users can acquire its fragmnets directly as part of the issuance.
After the issuance is completed, the fragments enter the exchange market, where they can be freely bought and sold.
Under specific circumstances, the artwork can be withdrawn from the system – for example, when one user accumulates at least 80% of all fragments. Then, through a simplified procedure, that user can buy out the remaining fragments and take full ownership of the artwork, removing it from the system.
What if I want to sell my artwork share?
Selling fragments takes place on the Real Digital Exchange exchange market, which was specifically designed with small transactions and high accessibility in mind.
