Frequently
Asked Questions

Why is this platform called Real?

We believe that technology should bring people closer to the things they value and cherish. We specialize in real, physical objects like paintings of renown artists. We break down old barriers, make access easier, and ensure comfort for our clients so they can have real experience as an art collector.

Art tokenization is the process of converting a physical artwork stored in public museum into digital pieces (tokens), allowing multiple collectors to share a valuable artwork.

Token is one unit of digital ownership of claim to the real, physical artwork stored in public museum. You can purchase multiple tokens or fractions of it.  A collector who acquires 80% of all tokens of particular painting can, in a simplified process, purchase the remaining ones and take the artwork home.

Our platform enables collectors to purchase digital tokens representing fractional claim to high-value artworks. These tokens can be bought, sold, or traded on our marketplace. With just a few clicks you can become art collector.

Most of all, you can become art collector without being a multimillionaire. In detail, tokenized art allows for fractional exposition to this asset class, provides increased liquidity, access to high-value artworks, lower entry costs and potential price appreciation over time.

Traditional art ownership requires full ownership (also paying full price) and storage responsibilities, whereas tokenized art allows fractional claim without the burden of physical storage or maintenance. Also, with tokenized collecting via Real Digital Exchange you can easily buy or sell tokens and experience growth in popularity of paintings at our market.
